In honor of the 250th. USA anniversary, we will be firing the Darlow Rapple replica 1841 civil war cannon here on the museum grounds. This is a free event open to the public. Scheduled for 11:00 am. on the morning of the 4th.

Come learn about the history of the "Great Harvard of the West", The Reverend Stephen Taft's Humboldt College. Martha Schmidt and others will be sharing the museum's collection of information, photos, and memoribilia in what is certain to be an interesting discussion.
